Baotou Central Hospital and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College are to start building trauma treatment centers, thanks to agreements signed with China Trauma Treatment Alliance, according to a Sept 3 Baotou Daily report.
The move marked the official start of construction work on the trauma treatment centers in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
A seminar on the treatment of trauma was held on the same day, inviting experts from the China Trauma Treatment Alliance to give lectures on various aspects of the topic.
According to a plan released by Inner Mongolia, the autonomous region will complete the construction of the trauma treatment centers of the China Trauma Treatment Alliance in prefecture-level cities under its administration.
By 2020, the trauma treatment centers will be fully promoted in the county-level cities in the autonomous region.
